Our Church as a Field Education Site

As a field education site affiliated with Andover Newton Theological School, the church supports the learning of a student through offering opportunities for hands-on experience in ministry. The pastor provides trained supervision and meets weekly with the student for theological reflection. In addition, the Teaching Parish Committee, made up of a diverse group of congregants, meets monthly with the student to give support and feedback.

Our field education student for 2007-08 is Lisa Rizoli.
Lisa is working toward the Master of Divinity degree at Andover Newton. Also, as a student In Care of the Central Association of the Massachusetts Conference, United Church of Christ, she is taking part in a discernment process that seeks to determine whether God and the church are calling a candidate to authorized ministry. Lisa's home church is First Congregational Church of Natick, UCC.
